The Volunteer Committee plays a crucial role in supporting Tasis by recruiting, training, and organizing parent volunteers for a wide range of school events and activities, such as lunch duty for the little ones, field trips, fundraisers, dances, plays, musicals, debate tournaments, Tasis Speaks, art shows, mentorships etc. To ensure safety and compliance, the committee manages the required background checks for all parent volunteers and ensures they are knowledgeable about and uphold the TASIS Code of Conduct for those who interact with students.
The committee's goal is to make sure volunteers are well-prepared, effective, and engaged, enhancing the experience for students, teachers, staff, and the volunteers themselves. Through clear training programs, open communication, and ongoing feedback, the committee ensures that volunteers confidently support and uphold the values of the school. By acting as a bridge between the school and the parent volunteers, the committee fosters a collaborative, safe, and supportive environment, enriching the overall school community
