TPA Parent Education Workshop: Parenting the Positive Discipline Way
Children don’t come with a set of directions and effective parenting skills are learned, not inherited. Parenting the Positive Discipline Way is based on experiential methods that help parents get into the world of children to discover what really works and what doesn’t—what children are really thinking, feeling, and deciding.
Based on the work of Jane Nelson & Lynn Lott, the workshops are fun and easy because participants will learn from their own personal experiences instead of listening to lectures or watching videos & listening to information. The time is filled with activities that reach the heart and gut, where real change takes place.
Join us for this TPA Parent Education workshop, led by May Kassem,Psychologist, Positive Discipline Educator & TASIS mom, on Thursday January 23rd from 8:30-10 a.m. in Studio 1 (Hallway opposite the Welcome Center). Workshop limited to 30 participants.
