We are delighted to see so much willingness from our Parents to roll up their sleeves and get involved with our school. We cannot thank you enough for your enthusiasm! To ensure that we all employ the same standards of care when interacting with the students, the School has put together a "Volunteer Code of Conduct” training session. Attendance at this training session together with submission of your ID documents for a criminal record check will make you eligible for volunteering at our school.
Whether you are a member of the TPA, a Class Rep, an In-School/ASA Volunteer or you simply wish to accompany your class on a field trip, we ask you to fulfil this requirement, so that you can be included in the important list of names that we call upon when in need of a helping hand. (Please note that this applies to student-facing roles and does not apply to Ad Hoc Event logistics volunteers coming in to set up/break down events). We know that many of you have already been volunteering in the School for a long time and we already consider you part of the furniture, but nevertheless request that you attend so that we insure we are all on the same page when it comes to keeping our kids safe.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our TPA Volunteer Liaison, Katie Albin on TPAVolunteers@TASISPortugal.org.
