DID YOU KNOW THAT 'SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING' LEADS TO IMPROVED ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT?
That is one reason why SEL is an integral part of the TASIS Portugal curriculum.

Join Mr. Brink, Ms. Rayner, and Ms. Pentikainen for this unique event as they facilitate a lesson where upper-school parents will take on the role of "students."
By experiencing a simulated "day in the life" of your child, parents can better understand how TASIS brings Social and Emotional Learning into each school day. Through this, parents will also feel more empowered to integrate the same SEL tools at home, gifting our children with a school/home consistency that will benefit them throughout their whole lives!
*This is a follow-up from the informational session: "Bridging Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) from Home to School"
DIRECTIONS TO GET TO THE SMALL THEATRE DURING SCHOOL HOURS:
Please drop off your student(s) where you usually do each day. Then, park in the Elementary School Pick-Up garage and walk out of the building toward the black metal stairs (as shown in the picture below), which grant access to the main TASIS Theater. Go upstairs to find your way out of the theater and turn left, walking past the 5th grade classrooms. School staff and/or signage will be available to indicate the entrance to the small theater, where the event is taking place.
IMPORTANT: you will not be able to access the school through the Welcome Center for this event.
